Teaching Abstract Art while you are CVC / Distance Learning and Face to Face - Check it out!

Have you ever tried to think outside the box and figure out how to teach in 2020 with CVC kids, Distance Learning and Face 2 Face in the classroom all at once...while you are trying not to lose to much of your curriculum? I found this great clip on Youtube by generaleuphoria.

generaleuphoria states that: This is an art lesson based on a scene from the Pixar movie Inside out where the characters become "abstracted" and go through four stages of abstraction. I tried to look at the art historical context of the different types of abstraction. At the end there is a short assignment the students can do. This lesson works great as a "flipped classroom" lesson, or if you would like to do this assignment yourself in class, you can download my powerpoint file from the link below: https://boydinrome.wixsite.com/msartl...

AS you can tell this was a successful lesson and I am glad to share it with you all in hopes it will help you too plan for an Abstract Art Lesson!
