Kids love dinosaurs!  Basquiat was a great artist to learn about and let the kids draw Basquiat style dinosaurs!

The kids outlined the crown and dinosaur with oil pastel.

Some kids wrote their name on their work like Basquiat.

Owls Like Charlie Frye and 2 Soul Sisters Folk Art Summer Camp 2021

Have you ever heard of Charlie Frye? We discovered him as we were planning out our art curriculum for summer camp. Fell in love with his style. We had left over wood and had the students paint owl eyes in his style after we introduced his bio to them. It truly was found art and what ever supplies you wanted to use. Great lesson for any age. Give it a try.
