Bunnies

Who doesn't love bunnies?  They are always a favorite.  Who is the most famous bunny?  Bugs, of course!

These bunnies are in the style of Hunt Slonem.  We have posted on him before.  Click HERE for Post on Hunt Slonem!

How did this go down?

I showed the kids some of Hunt Slonem's work.
They drew with pencil.
Then, they finished up with posca markers.
They sure love posca markers.

Also, I gave a mini lesson on how to use a glue stick!  Always a good review that can be applied in all classrooms!

Hopscotch in San Antonio, TX - Visual Arts Department Meeting At The NAEA Conference

We are so grateful to be able to have attended the NAEA Conference this year as a full Visual Arts Department! Have any of you ever visited a Hopscotch facility? If not, I strongly suggest you do! Here is the link for the website: https://letshopscotch.com/ from the website below....

Hopscotch is an immersive and experiential brand that brings together artists in collaborative environments to create unique, impactful, and distinct shared experiences. We believe art can be a vessel to tell stories and illuminate important messages of the past, present, and future. Hopscotch allows artists to showcase their works in sustainable and creative ways, encourages them to be inspired by new mediums, and empowers them to reach new audiences. We strongly believe in cultivating lasting relationships and a synergy with our staff, artists and the local communities we are in.

Man were there photographic opportunities here. We were there for like 2 hours. Scroll through our photos and then check out the link above for more details on what this place has to offer. We were able to get in free with our NAEA conference name tags. Thanks Hopscotch for that treat. We really enjoyed it!
