6th Grade loved learning about Jen Stark. Her art is cool, hip, colorful, and just FUN! Let me explain how this fun went down!
Directions:
I showed the kids a few Jen Stark videos.
Video 1:
Video 2:
The kids drew a shape on a piece of white construction paper.
Then, they cut the shape out.
The saved the piece they cut out and the piece they cut out from.
The piece they cut out was set aside to build the Jen Stark Art.
Then, they used the piece they cut from and traced it on another sheet of paper a tad smaller.
The piece they cut out was side aside the be the next piece of the Jen Stark Art.
and so on and so on.
They had to save both pieces of the construction paper to do the project.
One for the actual project and the other half to be the pattern to trace for the next piece of Art.
I would say that the project may should have done with 7th grade. The 6th grade struggled just a bit.
I do like how they turned out.
L👀K!
Here is a hippy, trippy music video by the Doors singing Strange Day.
