I borrowed this excellent example of how to draw a lion from Purple Crayons at

We used oil pastels.

Some chose to blend.  Others chose to do "straight up" oil pastels.



 

 

 

 

 

The kids had a ROARINGGGGGG good time doing this art activity.

 

Oh yeah. Fav band singing about a lion sleeping at night.
