January is the coolest time to dive into penguin art, and guess what? The kids absolutely adore those waddling friends! Our first graders totally rocked their penguin masterpieces. Yep, things got a little messy, but it was all in the name of good, giggly fun! 🐧

How did this go down?
I did a little pre-project work and cut the ovals.
The kids painted snow on blue construction paper with dabbers.
The kids painted the bottom half of the penguin with dabbers.
The kids painted the nose, eyes, and feet.
The kids glued the penguins to the construction paper.
Waa-laa!
