Come Together Art Show, 2024

Hey everyone... out here in the Art Blog world!

Guess what? We just wrapped up our 3rd yearly Come Together Art Exhibition right here on our school grounds, and boy, was it a blast!

We had all sorts of amazing artwork on display, from paintings to sculptures and everything in between. And get this - we even had some super talented elementary and middle school students showcase their masterpieces from the North Florida Fair Art Show! How cool is that?

Plus, we gave out three awesome awards to some standout artists. Talk about talent! You know what? I really think other high schools should jump on the art show bandwagon too. It's such a great way to bring the community together and celebrate creativity. So, if you haven't already, why not suggest a high school art show at your school? Trust me, it'll be a hit!

Having an art show at our high school is super fun and cool! Here are some reasons why:

1.    Show Off Your Talent: You get to display your awesome artwork for everyone to see! It's like showing off your superpowers but with paintbrushes and crayons.

2.    Feel Proud: When people admire your art, it makes you feel really proud of yourself. It's like getting a big high-five for being so creative!

3.    Make Friends: Art shows bring everyone together. You can meet new friends who love art as much as you do. Who knows, you might even find your art buddy for life!

4.    Boost Confidence: Seeing your art on display makes you feel like a superstar! It gives you a confidence boost and makes you believe in yourself even more.

5.    Inspire Others: Your artwork can inspire others to get creative too! Who knows, maybe someone will see your painting and feel inspired to pick up a paintbrush themselves. Added bonus this is a great way to promote your Visual Arts program and gain traction for students to want to take your classes.

So, having an art show is not just about showing off your talent, it's also about spreading joy, making friends, and feeling awesome about yourself! Until next time, keep creating and spreading those artistic vibes! You my friend, do absolutely make a difference in what you are doing in your classroom.
