Easy Sailboat in the Water with Reflections Art Project

I remember the song, “Sailing” by Christopher Cross in the late 70s.  I never was a fan of the song because it was too slow!  I am a fan of these sailboats done by my little kiddos.

First Grade did a great job with these sailboats and their reflections!

How did it go down?

The kids folded a piece of blue construction paper in half.
The kids drew a sailboat on the top half of the folded blue paper.
The kids colored with crayons.
The kids turned the paper upside down.
They drew and colored another sailboat just like the first.
Then, they used watered down tempera to go over one of their sailboat drawings.

Have a l👀k!
