Do you have a slab roller in your class? I do and I love it. I had my 6th graders roll slabs and create a mini valentine unit. We created hearts. I have 5 classes on this 6th Launch Wheel. This allows me to see all 6th graders. Which, in my opinion is a good things because it helps build excitement for my program in 7th and 8th grades.
Once the hearts were fired, I allowed students to glaze using stroke n coat glazes. We then followed up with wire and beads. I will be posting the other 3 classes later, but I was excited about these and wanted to share!
