The 2 Soul Sisters love Takashi Murakami and his fun and colorful art. We posted on Murakami previously (Click HERE for Takashi Murakami Post) The thing that I love about this 5th grade lesson is that it demands creative thinking from those active brains.
Directions:
Talk a little about Murakami or show a short video.
Tell kids to think of things that they could incorporate a “Takashi Murakami” face on their art.
Once they get a plan, draw and paint!

The funniest of these is the toast. I love how this 5th grader just took plain toast and made something happen. Just some good stuff right here, folks!
