As we celebrate Valentine's Day today, let's take a moment to spread some love and support within our amazing community of art educators. You are so way super cool and fabulous, we want to spotlight those traits on our Instagram @2_soul_sisters_art_ed Each Wednesday, starting today, let's come together on Instagram to share our stories, experiences, and, most importantly, our love for children's art. This is like our Valentine’s Card for each of you.
We all know the incredible impact art has on young minds – it nurtures creativity, fosters self-expression, and teaches valuable life skills. But beyond that, it brings joy and beauty into our lives every single day. And who better to spread that love and appreciation than us – The Art Teachers, the ones who guide and inspire our young artists? We are so inspired by what you all post on Instagram we thought this would be a great idea for others to see it too. If you don’t follow us give us a follow and we will do the same for you too.

The heart above was created during Covid Days…I was at home in my studio after teaching online and I kept making art because I missed being in my classroom with my kids. It now hangs the outside wall on our guest room. It makes me happy when I see it. Literally, I was letting our dogs out and saw and old piece of metal from our pool house roof. I cleaned it up and just started to paint. I think I was channelling my inner Jim Dine! So here is our virtual Valentines Card to you all! Hope you are as excited as we are about this! Can't wait to spotlight and share all the artsy goodness you all are doing in your classrooms!
