When I was in college at University of Georgia, I had a professor named James "Jim" Herbert. If you look him up, be prepared to see risqué 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳. He made us open up a can of sardines at 7:50 AM and draw them with oil pastels. I have never forgot that early morning art activity. NEITHER HAS MY NOSE!
For my art lesson, we did not open the cans. Nope. No way. So what did I do?

Things Kids MUST DO when Completing the Project:
- when you are done with the project, make sure you re-outline to make it “pop”
- kids must have a can with a label; be creative
- can must be at least half open
- the can must include at least 4 fish
