Picture this—warm, glowing orange skies stretching over a deep blue ocean. The kind of scene that makes you want to kick back, soak up the sun, and maybe hum a little Beach Boys tune. 🌊🎶
This is how the project went down...
First, the kids sketched out their scene—the big ol’ sun hanging over the water. No fancy details, no overthinking, just a simple sun-and-sea combo. ✏️🌞
Next came the best part—watercolors! 🎨💦 Kids grabbed their brushes and flooded the sky with the happiest shades of orange. 🌟 BAM! Instant sunshine!
The ocean got a deep blue makeover, with waves rolling across the paper. Some kids kept it smooth, others went wild with wavy brushstrokes. Either way, it was ocean vibes all the way! 🌊
Once the paint dried (which took forever because...watercolors 😅), we brought out the oil pastels. Time to trace back over those pencil lines and make everything pop! ✏️➝🖍️ That sun? Extra bold. Those waves? Super crisp. The whole thing? Pure summer magic! ☀️✨
And just like that, our classroom turned into an art gallery of golden skies and rolling seas. If you need a little sunshine in your life, trust me—this project delivers! 😎🎨
