Lower School Art Collaboration Unit
I have said this before, Cathy always displays educational bulletin boards. Check these 2 out. It was a collaboration unit with lower school classes. Each student was given a square. In the square, they had to trace a shape. In that shape, they were allowed to use warm or cool colors. On the outside of the shape which ever one they didn't use on inside they used in the background. See what she did there? Wow, she was able to cover lots of the Elements and Principles with this unit lesson. I do believe you can use what ever medium that you would like on this project. Can I just tell you how nice it is to have 3 divisions on campus and 4 art teachers collaborating together. It makes our job so much fun! Scroll down for more details and examples. I hope this sparks a lesson for you too!
