A New Spin On Some Fall Art...Pumpkins!

Well, what do we have here? Just a different look on an old lesson. We decided to create pumpkins using only shading and black outlines. For the background, we wanted a crayon resist. The last 2 are a little more on the TAB side, they wanted to put their own spin on the lesson and I was like - "just go for it"!

We used 12 x 18 white paper. Sax watercolors, crayons and Sharpies. There are many ways to take this lesson to a different direction depending on the concept you are teaching. I like the edgy vintage vibe that they create.
