"Trunk or Treat" is a Halloween event and alternative to traditional trick-or-treating, often held in the United States. During a Trunk or Treat event, participants decorate the trunks of their cars in various Halloween themes and gather in a designated area, such as a parking lot or a school yard. Children, typically dressed in costumes, then go from car to car to collect candy and treats, much like they would go door to door in a residential neighborhood on Halloween night.
The idea behind Trunk or Treat is to provide a safe and controlled environment for children to enjoy Halloween festivities. It's often organized by schools, churches, or community groups as a community-building and family-friendly activity. Participants get creative with their car decorations, which can range from spooky and Halloween-themed to more kid-friendly and fun. It's become a popular way for families to come together, socialize, and celebrate Halloween.
At the local Trunk or Treat, Mini-Bob Ross had quite the entourage. He had a dedicated
cameraman who took his job very seriously, moving about like they were
filming for ABC Nightly News. And if that's not enough, he even had a live
cloud! Just take a look at that white cloud, happily grinning and floating in
the group photo. And let's not forget about the live tree; sometimes, Mini-Bob
Ross affectionately refers to the tree as "Mom."
The pictures from this event are pretty sweet. The family's decorated trunk earned them the prestigious 1st place award, and Mini-Bob Ross himself walked away with a trophy for the best boy costume.
Wow, Mini-Bob is spot on! |
Now that is a fun trophy! And, Peapod, the squirrel, seems to be very excited! |
I think this family has got it going on. Good folks! Mama and Daddy, you are really rocking the job of raising kids! I see a "trunk"load 😂😂😂 of creativity in this picture! |
