The first graders learned about Roy G Biv in this art project.
How did this go down?
First I showed the following video:
Once we watched the video, we all painted along together with acrylic and the kids would tell me which color to paint next.
We also got a "mini" blending lesson squeezed in while painting the flowers.
Was it messy? Yup.
Did the kids learn a few things? Yup.
Love the results!
