Clay Tiles Made From Slab Roller
I introduced this lesson as we were doing a printmaking unit. I wanted to cover stamping. These turned out nice. Students were able to use the slab roller on their own. Create a stamped composition in the clay making a relief. Once they dried, we fired and glazed with colors of their choice. Several have framed and hung up in their homes. Hope this inspires your classroom lesson in some form or fashion - 1969
