Check out these cool long flowers created by 1st grade with Cathy Hicks in our Lower School Art Program. She used the analogy of "Growing Like A Flower". Yep, these kids are basically in second grade now and this lesson was a great way to encompass that concept and reiterate some of the Elements and Principles of Art.
As always, Cathy, thanks for allowing us to share. You teach some really cool lessons in your art room. This one just made me happy as I was walking down the hallway. Instantly, I knew I wanted to blog on these whimsical flowers!
