For Grandparents' Day this year, the 2nd grade did a routine to "Don't Rock the Jukebox" by Alan Jackson. The dance was really cute and they were super excited about their routine. To further excite the students, I had them draw and paint jukeboxes!
Directions:
First, I showed the students what a jukebox is!
Here are a few links to JUKEBOXES:
Then, the kids drew the jukeboxes with pencils. I gave them stencils and rulers to use on their project, if they wanted.
They colored the jukeboxes with crayons.
They painted with these great metallic watercolors that I bought From Dick Blick.

They stamped circles with silver and gold acrylic paint.
Have a LšK!
Here's a Georgia native, Alan Jackson, singing "Don't Rock the Jukebox".
