For these manger scenes made of clay, I suggested to the kids to KEEP IT SIMPLE. The simple manger scenes worked the best. Sometimes kids just do not trust the teacher.
Directions:
I cut a round circle for a base.
The kids made Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus.
They slipped and scored.
We fired.
They glazed.
Waa-Laa!
