Dancing in the CityScape!

For our Grandparents' Day Program this year, the fourth grade class performed to the song "Dancing in the Streets" by Martha & The Vandellas. 

 

To incorporate the class song into art, I decided to have the kids do "James Rizzi style"

cityscape. Click HERE for quick video of James Rizzi Art. After we completed the project, I took pictures of the kids doing actual dance moves and put them into the painting.

 

Directions:

 

Kids draw their cityscapes.

Kids paint the cityscapes.

Kids use oil pastels to outline the cityscapes.

Kids "dance" in their cityscapes.
