Have you tried clay and recycled glass in an art project. We did and they turned out really cool. So, we made clay hearts. While they were wet we added pieces of recycled glass. The fun part is that we got to bust up glass bottles with a hammer. Families collected and donated glass bottles (beer, wine, jelly, syrup) We pressed the pieces into clay and fired at 04 on slow. The results varied but it is worth a shot if you haven't tried it. Good luck - happy creating!
