I have done this with my 8th graders and Art Club this school year.
If you live near a Hobby Lobby and run out of supplies you can go there to replenish.
This is a great process art lesson. The students are able to experience the torch and melting glass as they try to manipulate it top wrap around a steel mandrel to create a glass bead!
