What's not to love about these Cy Twombly-inspired turkeys? The kids had a blast with this project, and their favorite part? Definitely the scribbling!
Here’s how we created these funky turkeys:
- The kids traced a big circle with a Sharpie.
- Next came the scribbling! Using a brown marker, they filled the circle with playful loops, like making lowercase cursive "e"s all over. They absolutely loved this step!
- Feathers were added around the circle.
- To finish, they cut out and glued on construction paper pieces for the beak, waddle, and any other fun details.
