These are always a good unit during camp and such a fantastic keepsake, don't you agree? We used glazed ceramic tiles from Home Depot. We used Stroke n Coat glazes to make the handprints and write names and year. Easiest thing to do is write the name on the back with a pencil. The lead will fire out red. We only had to do one firing. We did a fast firing on 06. And they were complete!
Parents can use them as trivets or for decoration. We still have ours from PreK.
