This is a jam packed blog on the use of the HEARTS the students created for our COTA 2021. We had students paint them. They dried and other's wrote words of gratitude on them. These pieces of art were to be used for many things during this week. One was to have teachers hold them up on the Day of Gratitude for our Maclay families at Drop off and Pick up. They were hung on all faculty and staff's door.
Students have missed just painting in my room as I have been on a wheel on a cart with limited supplies, so getting back into my room for a bit was a delight!
High School had lots of creative juices flowing too!
Many hearts were used to facilitate the kick off of the week in the lower school commons area for a new bulletin board display.
Several made it on to carts in the Middle School.
Work in progress.
All were different and unique.
Y'all it takes a collaborative village to tackle these huge endeavors and I am so thankful for friends like Cameron to always help with with a sense of humor!
The hanging of the bulletin board was a group effort!
Thankful for Sarah and her spray painting skills!
These were laminated for car drop off and pick up.
Mrs. Hicks had students write their names on the hearts for those teachers.
Advancement helped us create these pieces for our social media. Color scheme was spot on!
This went up on the fence the Friday before the week started to build up a little Hype.
Parents thought this was a coolzy idea.
Middle School teachers getting in on the action.
Thanks, Jayme! With you, the guidance piece came together and was great! Looking forward to doing it all over again next year but with another twist!
Bottom right, be still my heart...GRATEFUL for this poster!
