Second Grade Penguin Parade!

Each year the second grade class at The Westfield School performs Mr. Poppers' Penguins🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧!  This year was no different.  To decorate the halls, we did some penguin🐧 art!  For previous penguin🐧 posts, click HERE!

Directions:

I showed Cassie Stephen's how to draw a penguin🐧 video.

Cassie did a great job, as always.  

Then, the kids drew the penguins🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧.

They colored with marker.

Then, we had circle time!

Creative Clay Fish

This has been one of my favorite clay lessons to teach this year. Each "fish" has its own unique personality. We used Amaco low fire clay and Stroke n Coat glazes. This unit helps to stress the basics of clay before moving on to more challenging lessons.
