Detail Of A Dragon's Eye

I ran across the idea on Teachers Pay Teachers. I used it as a sub lesson and I have never been so pleased with the results. All students were given the same directions and each Dragon's Eye is different. Wow! I am so pleased I plan to do another blog post on this lesson later this week. We really focused on the use of the composition of the paper while incorporating The Elements and Principles of Art. I didn't set a specific medium. Most students chose colored pencils and markers. Take a look and check out the detail in each eye! I highly recommend this lesson to others! We have blogged on this several times due to the success of the lesson.
