The Elementary Kids (Grades 1-5) entered artwork to be displayed at the Georgia National Fair. What is the fair? Well, the fair is a magical place for all the kids in Middle Georgia and surrounding counties. Most people think that it is the best fair in the state! Have a look at the Georgia National Fair HERE!
Our school is located across the street from the fairgrounds. On the way to school each day, the kids can see the Ferris Wheel as the sun is rising in the East. Obviously, educating kids with readin', writin', and 'rithmetic, is quite challenging with such fun just a few hundred yards away. We all know that school is more than just books, though. The fair provides a wealth of knowledge and hands on learning that is hard to beat! Honestly, the Georgia National Fair is a great gig for families.

For all you locals, do not forget to get your fair tickets at Kroger! The tickets are about half-priced. You must purchase before the fair begins on Thursday, October 4, 2018!
If you do get tickets, stop on by the Miller, Murphy, Howard Building to see the kids' art! They are proud of their art, and so is their art teacher!
I always liked the big, pink, carpet slide at the fair. Unfortunately, the bigger I got, the slower the slide ride. There is always Steppenwolf's Magic Carpet Ride!
