Getting Funky with Ernest Lee Chickens!

Ever heard of Ernest Lee "The Chicken πŸ” Man" from Columbia, South Carolina?  Well, the 2 Soul Sisters have and we have posted on The Chicken πŸ” Man in the past.  (Click HERE for more posts on Ernest Lee.

Directions:

I talked a little about Ernest Lee to the second graders.
They drew chickens πŸ”πŸ”πŸ”πŸ”.
They painted the chickensπŸ”πŸ”πŸ”πŸ”.
After the chickens were dry, they drizzled and splattered a little paint on their chickens πŸ”πŸ”πŸ”πŸ”.

Fun Project!

  3. The kids drew the funky chickens by using shapes. A circle here. An oval there. A rectangle here. Easy Peasy!

    1. Very small world! Karen is in Perry. Kim (Me) in Tallahassee. I am so glad you reached out and hope you found something useful here. We started doing this blog years ago and it has become a huge resource and reference place for lots of reasons in and out of the classroom! Maybe one day when I am up for a bit we could all grab coffee!
