Claes Oldenburg is an American sculptor, best known for his public
art installations typically featuring large replicas of everyday
objects. Another theme in his work is soft sculpture versions of
everyday objects. I think Cathy did a great job of teaching this unit and introducing Oldenburg to our Maclay Lower School Art Students. These were created for the school's Grateful Gathering to be used as center pieces!
