Water Lilies Under the Bridge

So, yeah.  Monet's garden has been done again and again.  Why did I choose to do replay?

Directions:

Kids drew bridges and water lilies with pencils.  

Then, they went over with oil pastels.

They highlighted the bridge with white.

Kids painted the background with liquid watercolor.

The next week, they turned a white oil pastel on its side and rubbed the water and the lilies only.

I kind of like the effect.

And yes, that was the twist!
