FUN With FUSED Glass

It is that time again for Fused Glass. This is such a neat process for the art students. I introduce the lesson with basic vocabulary, material and techniques. We discuss safety. I have the kids work 3 at a time at the back table. Yes, while they are working the other students are engaged in lessons such as;

This is what I love...opening up the kiln to find a fresh batch of glass that has been fused!
Make sure you by Dichroic glass - students love the shiney stuff!
We have decided you can layer about 4 to 5 colors up with just using Elmer's Glue.

Attaching the jewelry findings is easy...

These are the 2 types of glue we use.

Hope you have a good day! 1969
