Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes!

Summertime is a time for vacation or weekend getaways!  Why not sailing as an end of year art project? 

 

The sailboat ocean scene was the last project for third graders in May.  The project took 2 class periods.  Obviously, we used a ruler on parts of the project.  When they began painting, I encouraged them to mix colors and most really enjoyed playing with a purpose in the paint.  I liked the results.
