Love this kind of painting!!!

This was such a super successful lesson that I found at the blog Art Is What I Teach.  Check it out....really inspiring! At this link is the actual sea turtle lesson. Looks like K. Thomas has updated the name of her blog and it is FOR THE LOVE OF ARTART INSPIRATIONS FOR ELEMENTARY AND SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS.....Wow, I love that title!!!!


Have you ever watercolored with salt? We did an earlier post on this for a science project for 1969's daughter...here. This was such a wonderful hands on lesson for the kids to do and 99.999% of the kids had a successful experience!
