by karen 1965 third grade teacher do you ever put your change in a parking meter?..well, have you ever noticed parking meters?..they usually look like this...oh so BORING!!!
or maybe a little more fancy like this...not as BORING, but looks kinda like a money making machine for someone...
really...both of the parking meters above are kinda boring...i like my parking meters with color...oh yeah...u guessed it...color is good...check this one out...too cool for cash...!
but...the coolest part is this...check these photos out...look carefully!
so...this says, "art of change...put your change where it can make one"...
now...get ready...cause this is really cool folks...there are 20 of these meters sitting around chattanooga, tn...so get this...
the art of change is a program of the city of chattanooga cranked up to address the panhandling issue...throughout the "not so safe walking at midnight areas", special “parking meters” are available to deposit the change you might ordinarily give directly to a panhandler...in most cases, our well-intentioned donation further enables and encourages a dangerous lifestyle...
depositing your spare change into the special “art of change” meters provides a better way to help...all of the proceeds will be directed to agencies that provide bunches of services for those who are truly in need...

if you are really interested, check out the brochure...
if you are not interested, well that is fine, 2...really...i tell you over and over and over again...color matters...and the color of this meter got my attention...if it weren't for color, all the world would be the same...blah!
what about this song without color?
We all live in a yellow submarine,
a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine.
(The Beatles, 1968)
