Yes, we (2 Soul Sisters) participated in a summer camp at Maclay. The link can be found here: http://2soulsisters.blogspot.com/2021/02/2-soul-sisters-folk-art-camp-maclay.html Was it a blast...absolutely! That is what made me want to branch out and collaborate with our Lower School Art Teacher, Mrs. Hicks. We thought a Printmaking Palooza would be a blast!

Printmaking is a form of art-making that allows the artist to reproduce a design, drawing, or image multiple times onto various surfaces, though most often paper. This means that prints can come in all different shapes, sizes, designs, and media! We will tackled a number of the techniques covered under the term printmaking.

What is printmaking in visual art?

Printmaking is an artistic process based on the principle of transferring images from a matrix onto another surface, most often paper or fabric. Traditional printmaking techniques include woodcut, etching, engraving, and lithography, while modern artists have expanded available techniques to include screen-printing.

We will post more on this, so stay tuned!
