Meeting Murakami, Not Kusama, and Finishing the Drill...

First, lemme say that we have posted on Takashi Murakami before!  Click HERE to view previous posts.
I love showing this video to kids.  It is kind of weird, but they seem to think it is interesting.  When he takes a nap, they start giggling.

I also shared with the kids that I had seen some of Takashi Murakami's work in LA, California.  We had flown from Georgia to see the Georgia Bulldogs in The Rose Bowl and just tried our luck to get in to see Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirror Room at The Broad, but after waiting HOURS, we did not get in for the special exhibit.  We did get into the museum for the general art and ended up seeing Murakami's art.  So, I smiled as big as the smiles on the flowers that the kids painted.

When Yayoi Kusama came to Atlanta, I got lucky and snagged 2 tickets for me and my daughter.  Have a look at the Yayoi Kusama Post Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirror Room Exhibit in Atlanta

Details...

1-Show that video Murakami taking a nap
2-Kids draw a circle and finish the flower (Note:  You can give the kids a tracer and let them have the circle to build the flower on...if you want...)
3-Kids painted with liquid watercolor

Waa-Laa!!!!!

L👀KIE!

The trip to LA to See UGA play was a fun time.  The game was on January 1, 2018.  Georgia Bulldogs beat Oklahoma 54-48.

Was Georgia supposed to win?  Nope
Sony Michel burst through the line for a 27-yard touchdown run to give No. 3 Georgia a victory against No. 2 Oklahoma, winning the first overtime Rose Bowl and sending the Bulldogs to the College Football Playoff championship game.

Then, we played Alabama and lost.

It is 2021 and looks like it may be our year to finish the drill.

That's really what it is about for all of us...Finishing the drill.

We are here doing what we do.  Do it good, folks....And finish the drill with your best effort....And maybe in the end, we will win the prize.
