3D Paper Patterned Triangles (Paper Pyramid Sculpture)

Recently, I posted on 3D Cubes. You can find the link here:
Have you ever created one of these with your classes? If not, you should give it a try. You can find the template here:You can choose which route to go with the design on all of the sides. I was tackling the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Within this lesson, you had to create the paper sculpture but also use line and shapes to create and interesting composition. This lesson was after a Zentangle unit, so the students were geared for filling in the whole space. I have found that lessons like these are great towards the end of the 9 weeks.
Several students want to use past lessons on Op art for each side of the triangle. A few used the pointillism lesson from last year to add design on them. This lesson check a review box too! Pretty cool...
Supplies:

Hope this is helpful! Drop us a comment if you have any questions. Maybe this will give you an idea for a future lesson or 2...we sure do hope so!
