Awesome Project with Horses

Did you know that the Red Hills Horse Trials is full of fabulous fun and excitement? Well it is and it is one of Tallahassee’s premier family-friendly event! If you venture out to it you can enjoy an equestrian competition, a shopping village, children’s activity area and food court—all in the beautiful Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park. I love that is just across for our school and our 5th grade teacher Mrs. Sims took advantage of this opportunity with the 5th grade in our Maclay Lower School. Yup, you guessed it I was walking down the hallway and saw this super cool bulletin board and had to take some photos. Had a conversation with MB and she told me that I could share with you all! Is this not the best bulletin board of horses?!?!?!?!

What is Red Hills? Well, it is a big deal in Tallahassee. Follow the link listed below:

This should answer many questions about this even that takes place in Tallahassee.

Not going to lie, seeing these horses made me miss those days of my daughter riding! Check out this post from a few years back to see cute left brain and daughter riding MOE!

Added bonus link is here below. You know when you have a wonderful 2nd grade teacher that shares your love of horses
(Art Teacher Mom must blog about it, right?)

This bulletin board is just spot on...each horse is individually unique just like all of our family here at Maclay!

Thanks for stopping by and special thanks to the Artists in Mrs. Sims' Class!
