Paper Mache Hearts

Looking for a paper mache project to do around Valentine'sπŸ’˜πŸ’˜πŸ’˜ Day?  This one will certainly work!  Fourth Graders really enjoyed the entire process.  Here is how it went down:

Directions:

I cut out small heartsπŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’— out of leftover cardboard boxes.  (prolly 2 inches by 2 inches or so)
The kids wrapped the cardboard heartsπŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’— with paper mache.
The paper mache heartsπŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’— sat a week on a shelf.
The kids then painted the heartsπŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’—.
Once the hearts were dry, I drilled two holes in the tops of heartsπŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’—.
The kids put wire and beads on the heartπŸ’—.  (I helped get the wire pushed through initially)

LπŸ‘€K!

Valentine's Day is coming!  Love will be in the Air!
