COTA Class, Chocolate Chip Cookies, eM Hearts And A Fire Station

To learn more about our Community Outreach Through The Arts click here:

This was a great lesson. We had the students make chocolate chip cookies from scratch our Maclay Cafeteria. You can see in the following photos. We bagged them up and added the eM hearts with hand written notes on them to deliver to a Fire Station here in Tallahassee, FL that is close to the school.

See our 2 COTA students in the Fire truck. Yep, they had a blast.

It is all about presentation, so we wrapped the goods up really nice and got it all ready for delivery.

Handwritten notes to the firemen and women.

The Nestle recipe is the bombdiggity!

We went Old School with no cookie scoop. 2 spoons were used just like you learned in Home Economics a long time ago.

This was very well received by our students and the Fire Station. Such a good experience for all involved. #communityservice #truebluemaclay
