Don't Rock the Jukebox!

For Grandparents' Day this year, the 2nd grade did a routine to "Don't Rock the Jukebox" by Alan Jackson.  The dance was really cute and they were super excited about their routine.  To further excite the students, I had them draw and paint jukeboxes!

Directions:

First, I showed the students what a jukebox is!
Here are a few links to JUKEBOXES:

Then, the kids drew the jukeboxes with pencils.  I gave them stencils and rulers to use on their project, if they wanted.
They colored the jukeboxes with crayons.
They painted with these great metallic watercolors that I bought From Dick Blick.
Click HERE: Dick Blick Metallic Liquid Watercolors  They loved these watercolors.  They leave a really cool residue in the water.  I caught a few pouring the watercolors in the water.  šŸ˜–šŸ˜”šŸ˜©šŸ˜µ
They stamped circles with silver and gold acrylic paint.

Have a LšŸ‘€K!
