This lesson is such a good one to rotate every few years. Students always seem to really use their creativity in their imaginations while constructing the facial features.

Directions:
White low fire clay
Give the size of a softball in clay
Have them create clay fish or frog
Add details
Let wet clay get bone dry
Fire slow on Cone 04
Take out use overglaze
Fire again in ceramic kiln at 06
Take out!
Viola...love the way they all turned out =)
