Glass Painted Cake Stand

So happy to let you all see this piece for our Maclay Auction. Our middle school students used glass paint and created a Gustav Klimt style cake stand. I sure do hope Mrs. Ree is good with our artsy piece. We have blogged on our other pieces for the auction at the links below:
We have a few more pieces of children's art to share with you over the next week, so stay tuned!
How to use Vitrea 160 Paint
Where did we get the cake stand? Walmart...It is from the http://thepioneerwoman.com/ collection. We loved the vintage feel of the milk glass. See below for the box. We love it Ree!!! I hope you are ok with our additions to it to make it more like a Gustav Klimt look.
How do we celebrate Maclay turning 50? We have a Maclay Auction. It is our Golden Jubliee.
You can find more information here:
After the students created with the glass paint, I had to take the cake stand home and bake in the oven. I shared the links to all of this above.

Simple and easy details.
Very cool Klimt like patterns.
