Introductory Fused Glass Ideas

Here are a few ideas for glass projects. Most of the glass bottles are donated. I fire the glass bottles in the regular ceramic kiln at 015 on slow holding at .10. This particular bottle was fired in ceramic kiln then we placed other strips of the green glass on the flat bottle to make a Tic Tac Toe Board. This was a cool lesson to just see how it would turn out.
This wine bottle was fired the same way and the scales stayed once the firing was complete. Yes, you can use this as a cheese tray.
Baby food jars make great paper weights.
See other post on what to do with these:

Normally I can get 3 wine bottles on a shelf.
Fused glass pieces.
See the other blog post here:
These blue bottles turn our really pretty.
Baby food jars on the shelf.
Other fused glass pieces.

Just felt like I could share these ideas with you all to maybe spark some creative idea in you for your classes. Thanks for stopping by! If you have other lessons that you do with glass please leave them in the comments. We would love to hear from you!
