School Spirit...for those early finishers
As we finished up this Graffiti lesson located here:
I had a few early finishers after our Character Education Graffiti Art Lesson.
If Graffiti is all about words. And words matter.
Words bring ideas to life. Words shape our understanding of the world and connect us as members of a global community.
I thought this was a good "early finisher" activity for art class. We all agreed that we would make signs for school spirit for our Maclay Middle School Volleyball Teams.
This was well received by all involved.
You know in a school environment this was a fun activity to get all of my wheel classes involved.
I do like this activity for a follow up on a Graffiti lesson. It is not Graffiti but it sure does pack a message to our student body that we are supporting our Maclay teams with creativity from the art room -1969!
