My 6th graders really enjoyed the project.

·         Sketch out your detailed design for your Hundertwasser style houses on watercolor paper (7" x 22").

Need to show:

1-organic forms, 2-love of nature, 3-spirals, 4-onion domes, 5-lollipop style trees, and 6-windows of different shapes and sizes

·         Outline with a black sharpie.

·         Paint the background with watercolor.

·         Paint the foreground with watercolor.

·         make touch ups to work, if needed.

Here is the 20 pieces of work displayed.  Hanging Hundertwasser was a big hit in the middle school commons area.

Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928–2000) was from Austria.

Remember the song "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco?  Well, Falco was from Austria, also.  Falco died in a car wreck in 1998.
