Hello All! If you are artsy and you are reading this blog - then I am willing to bet that you have been in a Goodwill Store and bought a thing or 2 over the years. Well, we soul sisters do! A few years ago we got on a kick and we painted LOTS of jean jackets. We painted them for gifts, for "get wells", for auction items, etc... The one above in the photos was painted for a teacher here on campus. She found out she had breast cancer and being one of those Do-Gooders from a previous post of 1965 (read Here) I took it upon myself in art class to create her a funky jean jacket! As you remember Breast Cancer has already been blogged about here on this blog as I took part in a 3Day walk in San Diego - fabulous experience! As it was my turn to blog (yeppers, we sisters take turns bloggin....kinda keeps it lively and FUN - I thought what about posting about the jean jacket and then that led to a Google search - man, oh man...tons of stuff on internet on this subject! I am so inspired now, I can't wait to have me some studio time to paint....hum...where shall I start first? Don't tell Mr. Left Brain about this...he might just panic!!! Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah....LIFE is good!
